While people who love live music like to get out and see as much as they can, some don't want the hassle of usual concert crowds, cigarette smoke or alcohol-drinking patrons.

You’ll never pay more than $10 for a show and you know that the content will be appropriate for all ages. We welcome you to join us for a night of live music and if you're so inclined, check us out on Sunday mornings as well!

West Des Moines, Iowa hosted an acoustic coffeehouse concert series called
The Lighthouse Coffeehouse. After taking a hiatus, the series has been retooled and is
premiering in
June of 2011 as
The Lighthouse Concert Series at West Des Moines
Christian Church.
This series will feature varying genres of music including Inspirational, Folk, Blues and more. Also, the addition of an outside Courtyard and 500 seat sanctuary have added more performance space options for the series.

Our 500 seat Sanctuary combines traditional elegance with contemporary interest in this acoustically stunning space. An LED-lit cross, complemented with subtle stage lighting and a thrilling sound-system make this space perfect for solo and group performaces.
Our Fellowship Hall converts nicely into a "coffeehouse" where patrons can experience great live performances in an acoustically proven space, while enjoying coffee and desserts in a true "listening room" environment.
Our cedar Pergola built in the Spring of 2011 adds charm to our already inviting Courtyard just outside our Sanctuary. Partons can bring their lawn chairs and find a spot up close on the bricks or find shade in the shadow of the Sanctuary. Either way, it's a fantastic way to listen to music on a summer night.
